LIGHTING

This photograph has been taken using Rembrandt lighting, in a studio,  this when the light is all coming from one side, which is often used in portraits to create shadows on the subjects and emphasise contours and lines. The lighting here has left half of he subjects face, and half of the cigarette in shadow, this has created an interesting effect, and has highlighted the delves in the cheeks of the subject.

Using lighting in this picture i created an aura around the subjects face and hair, this glow gives us a a kind of sunny effect as though we are staring at someone in bright light. The light coming through the subjects hair has also created a dull glow on the face, which gives a nice even skin tone to the subject.
